Your Silence Is Your Sermon

Silence is essential for growth in the spiritual life

every season of our lives has its joys and its challenges

-MAGNIFY THE NEGATIVE-

-Details to our pain but short version to our joy

-Some folk ANOINTED TO TALK-SHARE

-At the wrong or worst times

-Example- sleep or watching a game

-IT TAKES PATIENCE TO listen to a communicator-

-Women talk talk talk

-Your words should do damage to Satan and his

-Sometimes silence is better than a response

-you can not win when it comes to communicating with some folk.

-She remembers date and time

-We give the enemy too much credit

-The devil doesn’t have the holy ghost

-The only way he knows what is going on is when we open our mouth

-The enemy has clues based on what we say.

-When a woman gives a silent treatment. Speaks with her eyebrows or lips.

-Frustrated- in love- attitude

-Jesus taught us a lot by the things he didn’t say but he knew called to die for us.

-He knew Judas would betray him but he said nothing.-

-There are moments when I haven’t held my peace and have said the wrong thing at the wrong time.

“YOUR Silence is YOUR Sermon”

-We sing, preach, talk, and prophesy

good with our lips but our life doesn’t match the sermon.

You fruit will produce on it’s on

-Sticks and stones is a lie

-We are hurt by words- so many hurt by words given in worship setting from church folk

-You not welcomed- you act like your daddy- your hair isn’t real-

Wounded by words

-Saved by still bound by emotions from people

-Don’t let folk get a hold to your emotions

Responding verbally is not always Gods will

There are people God allowed you to connect with to help you simply train your tongue.

God is trying to mature us in the most uncomfortable moments.

We must produce the character we say we believe in

GOD WANTS A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CHANGE PEOPLE- ONLY GOD CAN-

I CHALLENGE US THE NEXT TIME SOMONE DOES SOMETHING CRAZY TO ANNOY OR GET UNDER YOUR SKIN – BE QUIET & STEP AWAY

God will show us areas of our self and how we get easily offended and the shortest fuse for the people close to us but have more patience and grace for a stranger
