Your Ticket to Paradise

Good Morning

Stand with me and lift your bible and repeat after me.

This is my Bible.

I am what it says I am.

I can do what it says I can do.

I am going to learn how to be what it says I can be.

Today I will learn more of the word of God.

The indestructible, never ending, living word Of God.

I will never be the same.

I will never be the same.

Before you sit down, say good morning to your brothers and sisters.

How about getting a free ticket for a trip to Paradise?

Have you ever wanted to travel somewhere exotic?

I have been blessed to do so.

I have been to Hawaii, Santorini in Greece, and the Philippines to name a few.

The beauty of what is on this planet we live on is amazing.

Amazing color is everywhere.

Mountains, valleys, lakes, oceans, trees, flowers, animals, reptiles, fish.

The list could go on and on.

I would like to tell you about this place I know I am going to go someday.

I have read about it.

I have dreamed about it.

I have actually daydreamed about it a few times.

I met the travel agent who has made the arrangements and is the one who has let me know that I was able to go there quite a while ago. He said that it is a place that is beyond my imagination.

It has the same things that we see here where we live, but better.

There are quite a few people that have gotten to go there already.

Some you and I already know.

The people that have gotten to go there are from all walks of life.

Many different nationalities have traveled there.

People of many different languages have gone there, and it is really awesome because they all have learned how to go there pretty easily.

It is not a place where you even need to get a visa or a passport to go.

Not everyone gets to go.

You have to get to know how you can go there.

There is only one travel agent that you need to contact.

You just have to ask the right person to let you in and He lets you visit with Him forever.

His name is Jesus.

His dad is awesome.

He is the one who created where we get to go.

There was no building permit needed.

He did not have to order building supplies from Home Depot and hope they were in stock.

He did not have to attend meetings and make presentations to a bunch of people on a building committee to get approval to build it.

He actually created it in 7 days. Amazing.

It is the most beautiful place you will ever see.

It has higher than 5-star travel rating.

It should be the top trip location on Trip Advisor.

Everything you need is provided for you.

Accommodations and all forms of comfort that you or I can imagine.

Now you might be thinking that you are not good enough to get there.

Well, you are wrong.

It is a pretty easy application process, and I can tell you about it a little later.

First, I want to tell you a few stories about people that got to go even though they did a few things wrong.

The first is about this guy named Moses. You can read about him in the best book ever published. It is called the Bible.

Moses can be found out about in the second chapter of the Bible called, “Exodus.” He was born as a slave, became a prince, and then when back to being a slave, killed somebody and then led all of the Jewish people out of slavery.

A little farther along in this book, there is a story about this guy named David. He was sold by his brothers, killed a giant, became king of Judah, committed adultery, murdered a guy, and then died.

In another section of this book there was a woman named Rahab who was a prostitute and helped a bunch of Jewish spies when they needed to hide from authorities.

Then there was this guy named Paul. He was called Saul and then changed his name. He was a Pharisee, a bad guy who killed Christians and then became one. He continued to walk and serve God in many ways over the coming years before he died.

These are all people like you and I and they got to go this great place.

We get to go there and stay forever when we make a few changes in our lives.

The first and most important one is to ask for forgiveness from the travel agent who has the ticket to this place. Forgiveness for all we have done in the past.
