  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Feel free to use anything you want. There is no copyright on what God gives em.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Illustration of Grace and Mercy by Joe Beam. Speeding thru Opelika, AL he is pulled over by a cop. Te cop doesn’t give him a ticket - mercy. Instead because he is the 100th person pulled over the officer gives him his patrol car.
  • Family: Blessed with a wonderful wife, Dana, and 2 sons, Jordan and Justin
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They’re proud and always positive
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She says I make good points but she can tell I’m nervous and ramble at times.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach the word
  • Books that have had an impact: The Bible (of course), 12 Ordinary Men, Every Man’s Battle
  • What I want on my tombstone: Servant. Husband. Father.
