• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Serve the Lord with all your heart, soul mind and strength!
• Something funny that happened while preaching: As a new pastor, I was preaching on accepting responsibility for bad decisions and I finished a profound and very inspired statement on submitting to the Chastisement of the Lord with "Sometime, you just need to bend over and take it like a man..." Oops!
• What I want on my tombstone: Here lies Adrien Thorne, a great father, a loving husband and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
