In the midst of his sufferings when Job couldn’t make sense of what was going on in his life with his finite wisdom that he ponders over the question of where man can find true wisdom. The true search of wisdom can only find an end in Christ Jesus.

It is easy to make a good start. Finishing well is important! Many today decide to quit smoking/alcohol. They do without for few days. But then, they start all over again. Starting with a weight-loss diet program is exciting, but we can get our expected results only if we hang into it for long.

Sins committed with good intentions were also punished by God. Wrong actions cannot be sanctified by good intentions. If we are careful to obey the Lord, we will have the peace and joy of the Lord in our hearts and the Lord will be with us amidst all our difficulties.

Let us wholeheartedly follow Jesus and not let the things of this world get in the way. We are too easily distracted by the urgent things of this life, our material desires and our physical comforts, that we fail in our commitment to our Lord.
