Christianity is the Good News that we can be saved, not by trying harder and depending on ourselves or our own promises, but in trusting God's power to save through the cross and the blood and the resurrection.

The story of Jonah is not just a Big Fish Tale. It's a true story with an incredible message relevant to our time. It's a message about a God who cares for all lives, even those of our enemies and those who hate us.

Psalm 33:12 says "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD." Our blessings in this nation do not come from freedom alone, but from the God who provides and protects us. This is what our Founding Fathers knew and declared more than 200 years ago.

God says that we are to be holy even as He is Holy, but how? Doesn't holiness mean perfection? And none of us are perfect! In this sermon study we will learn that holiness means sacred and separated or dedicated to God.

We are the Church and we are the Temple. The Church is not a building we come to. The Church is people, people called out of darkness. We do not come to a Temple to offer animal sacrifices. We come together as the Church to offer ourselves to God.
