The Law, above all else, says that to be a sinner is to be a transgressor of the Law. There is no way around it, the Law of the Bible has announced the just sentence of death. What is there to do?

Through faith in Jesus Christ, your standing before God is amended to reflect Christ’s righteousness. Your standing and not your state has been changed. Your state will change as you are filled with the Spirit of God to glorify Him.

No amount works, service, goodness, or moral competence will come to the aid of man’s defense before God. Only by placing your faith in the finished work of the cross can you be saved.
