About Dr. Stafford
  • Education: Dr. Stafford Miller was appointed to serve as pastor of St. Philips’ Ministry in 1989. Rev. Miller, was born and raised and received all of his formal education in the city of Paterson. His undergraduate college years were spent at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ and at New York Theological Seminary were He received a Masters of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degrees. Prior to Seminary he taught in Public Elementary schools in Paterson.
  • Experience: He served 18 months as a V.I.S.T.A Volunteer and has Volunteer in Mission experiences to Haiti and Nicaragua. He is also a member of the Paterson Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. His Annual conference involvement are on the Hudson District Committee of Ordained Ministry, Shalom Task Force, Historic and Archival Trustee, Commission on Evangelism and Commission on Religion and Race.
  • Family: He is married to Maria A. Benavides who serves as executive director of the C.A.M.P. Youth Development Program in Paterson NJ. He has one daughter Kimberly and a granddaughter Camron.
