  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I read a lot of sermons so I can not claim originally of every thought or illustration. I have been influenced over the years by some great preachers and fine christian deacons and friends.
  • Family: Patsy B. Shellman, wife Henry Shellman Jr Rene Shellman Faul Sabrina Maples Cagle
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They were very proud when I was called to preach the gospel. They loved me so they thought the sermons were inspirational and the best they had heard. (At least that is what momma said)
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She is my greatest critic but she does enjoy my preaching.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach the Word and live what you preach
  • Books that have had an impact: My main read is the Bible and of course it has changed my life.
  • Hobbies: I am bi-vocational so I really don't have any hobbies. I love to spend time with my wife, grand children, and my church family
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: There is only one God! He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. Don't live another minute separated from Him. Jesus came, born of a virgin, lived a pure life, died as a sacrifice for all who will believe, resurrected, and is coming again. Repent and believe in Jesus today!
  • What I want on my tombstone: I think I will leave this to those who survive me. I hope they remember me as a loving father, grandfather, spouse and man of God.
