The route to the experience of the presence of God is earnest desire to seek Him. God will not draw near to us if we have no thirst and hunger for His fellowship.

The apostolic charge to every preacher and teacher of the word is "study". Our ministry will lack the substance of divine approval and saving, sanctifying power without the diligent study of the Word of God on daily basis.

To profit from the Word requires an action of faith. Reading, hearing and receiving the Word passively and superficially is of no profit to a person.
