Comment to those looking at my sermons: I pray that you find them encouraging and can discover in them my heart. My prayer as I write each sermon is that those who hear will see in me an authentic, passionate follower of Jesus Christ.
Family: My wife Erica and I have been married for 10 years. We were married during my sophomore year of college. We have four children, Peigh who is nine, Josiah who is seven, Benjamin who is one, and Isaac who went to be with the Lord at age 17 days in October of 2001. We are also expecting another child who is due in February of 2008.
What my parents think of my sermons: They think theyre great!
What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: For the most part she thinks I do a wonderful job but is the first to tell me if I screw up.
Best advice given to me about preaching: Come from the heart!
