A Celebration Like No Other
Contributed on Oct 31, 2022
This is not our home! But there WILL be a homecoming for those of us who are in Christ Jesus… and there will be a HUGE and EXCITING celebration on that day when it comes! It will be a celebration like no other!
INTRODUCTION ILL: There’s a story about an old missionary couple who had been working in Africa for years and were returning to New York City to retire. They had no pension; their health was broken; they were defeated, discouraged, and afraid. They discovered they were booked on the same ship ...read more

May Your Name Be Written
Contributed on Oct 31, 2022
There is a day coming when the trumpet will sound and the opportunity for repentance has ENDED and our eternal fate is SEALED. For those already IN CHRIST, our salvation will be completed when Jesus returns… this time as a conquering King! Will that include you?
INTRODUCTION As you’ll remember from last time, God institutes a series of 7 feasts (or festivals) in Leviticus 23 that the people of Israel were to faithfully observe every year. Each of those observances have great significance in Jewish faith and practice… but like many things in the OT, each ...read more

We’re approaching the time when the heavenly trumpet will be heard. Jesus is coming soon! Repent and turn your heart toward God, and then run your race well, because the trumpet could sound quicker than you think!

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses
Contributed on Feb 4, 2021
Where’s your fruit, Church? Maybe the world doesn’t see much fruit from us because we’re hiding out like Moses and making excuses instead of jumping into action. God sometimes asks us to do difficult things. Will we trust Him? Do we respond in faith or with excuses when God calls?
Last week, we heard a powerful message on the topic of faith and works... about how faith without works is dead. The pastor said, “Focus on God, and then He through you will produce the fruit... You can’t do anything for God... but God through you can do amazing, amazing, amazing things!” He ...read more

Parable Of The Sower
Contributed on Jan 26, 2021
I remember sitting, my face wet with tears, as I prayed for God to rescue me and change the soil of my heart into rich, fertile soil. I was tired of just pretending to be a Christian. I no longer wanted to be the person I had become. I surrendered my life to Jesus... and I was forever changed!
INTRODUCTION God has put a message on my heart to share with you from the Gospel of Matthew. This message is actually very special to me personally. It was April of 1993 when I heard someone preach on the “Parable of the Sower” from Matthew 13. We had just survived a very serious car ...read more

Full Steam Ahead
Contributed on Jan 27, 2021
I used to work for a railroad. The engineer on a train has a huge responsibility to safely operate and move that train over sometimes difficult terrain and in all kinds of weather. When you have a train roughly a mile (or more) in length, hauling over 10,000 tons of freight, running in excess of ...read more

Scooping Up Manna
Contributed on Jan 27, 2021
I wrote the following poem titled “Scooping Up Manna” on March 3rd, 2011 as an entry in my private journal during a time of great internal struggle and turmoil over whether or not I would choose to be obedient to follow after God. This poem is based on the Biblical account found in Numbers ...read more
