About Ronald
  • Education: Graduated from EPBC in 1986 with BTh. Have completed some work towards a MDiv.
  • Experience: Ministry since 1986.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Feel free to use them and/or contact me. Why read all the great preachers? I’ve stolen all their material so just read mine.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Sermon by Robert Tatinger (College Prez at the time) in 1983 called "One Divine Moment" based on the life of Jacob.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Knowing your gifts. a boy tossing the ball in the air and swinging a bat at it and continually missing. An old man happens by and says, "son, you are not much of a hitter are you?" The boy replies, "It’s not that i am a bad hitter sir, it’s just that i am such a great pitcher."
  • Family: Wife and four children. Two boys and two girls.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Both unsaved and love my preaching ... hmmmm ... i hope that isn’t a bad thing. :)
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: With four children she finds it difficult to hear many BUT of course she loves them ... it’s the man behind the message I suppose ... very biased.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: A prepared heart is more important than a prepared sermon. E M Bounds.
  • Books that have had an impact: All of Chuck Colsons. Love G. Campbell Morgan, Harry ironside, Spurgeon. Books by John Bevere and Larry Crabb. Big fan of John Maxwell material until around 1997/98. Nothing in particualr just he has gotten away from the pastoral heart which is to be expected with his changes. L:ife of D Bonhoeffer and material by Jim Cymbala. ... I could go on ...
  • Hobbies: All sports. Particularly Hockey, golf and football. Playing guitar and singing.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Finally brethern .... farewell. :)
  • What I want on my tombstone: You are standing at the future sight of a resurrection.
