About Stephen
  • Education: Working towards my B.A in Church Ministries / Pastoral Track
  • Experience: 2 years
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I am a human being who will make mistakes. My goal is to deliver Biblical messages to transform peoples lives and to give all the glory to God.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Under Construction- Pastor Jeff Perish
  • One of my favorite illustrations: There are three types of Christians- A ROW BOAT Cristian is those who rely on their own rowing power;they rest for a little while;the current pushes them right back to were they started. A SAIL BOAT Christian is those who let the wind do all the work;they enjoy the high moments, but what happen when the dodldrums come? A STEAM BOAT Christian is those who take the water of the world and combine it with fire of the Holy Spirit and there is a constant power no matter what the conditions.
  • Family: I am happily married. We don’t have any kids yet. We are very family oriented.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They enjoy them.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She loves least thats what she tells me.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach God’s word. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing- Dr. Charlie Martin

  • Hobbies: Spending time with my wife and family, reading, people person, disciplship, cooking
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Depends on if I was preaching to believers or non-believers. Not all fish can be caught with the same bait.
