There are certain characteristics that mark citizens of the Kingdom of God, and if these are present, the individual will be truly blessed, happy, fortunate (Makarios). Among these characteristics is the ability to be a peacemaker.

The thought that an individual could be so utterly unredeemable is dismissed by Paul when he tells Timothy that if God could save him, He can save anybody.
