There was a talented young Indian boy that loved hunting. One of his goals was to get an eagle. He so needed the eagle to build his elaborate head dress. All the eagles would fly around the young boy and mock him. He could never be the chief without a beautiful eagle feather head dressing. The boy tried and tried to shoot a beautiful eagle. He could never get close to one. The boy studied and studied the patterns of the eagles' flight. Still nothing. One day the teenager talked to his dad the old chief. The dad said son you have to learn to think like an eagle. One day the man matured. He decided to climb the cliff and look in the eagles nest. There he found a handful of eagle feathers. The man went to his tent and changed his attitudes.

The eagle was soaring high because he knew the Indian was getting better. One bright sunny day the eagle was soaring and all of a sudden the eagle was hit by an arrow. The eagle looked down to the wound and to his surprise the four feathers on the arrow was his own feathers. The eagle fell to his death realizing his fatal wound was with his own personal feathers.

There was a new chief in the village... his crowning head dress of great beautiful eagle feathers were respected by all his tribe. The lesson was clear, the only effective weapon that can harm you comes by using the ammunition you provided to your enemy.

God give us wisdom that no weapon is effective without our cooperation.
