A LIGHT THING IN THE SIGHT OF GOD

When they were building the Brooklyn Bridge, they encountered a problem. The place where one of the buttresses needed to be placed was occupied by a sunken ship. They couldn’t move it. They tried several things, but couldn’t get it to budge. Finally, an engineer came up with an idea. When the tide was low, he had them bring in some barges, and divers went down and tied huge ropes from the barges to the ship. When the tide rose, the power of the Atlantic Ocean moved the sunken ship.

God doesn’t intend for us to knock ourselves out in our little difficulties of life. He is well able to handle them for us. Elisha said, “This is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord.” It’s just a miracle! That’s the business He’s in.
