Jude the younger brother of James calls believers to contend against calculating enemies in prayerful “narrow door” faith. We contend with the purpose of evangelism and repentance even if it means personal sacrifice and suffering.

Jude references a wide range of sources, including Jewish literature and contemporary examples, to equip his readers to discern the “certain individuals” who have slipped into the church. His descriptions continue to give us discernment.
