Summary: AMERICA IS KILLING GOD! ARE YOU GOING TO LET THEM?
The Beginning of The End
AMERICA IS KILLING GOD AND NO ONE CARES! Harsh statement? Perhaps...but quite true! It all started with on lone lady by the name of Madeline O’Hare! In 1962, Madeline Murray O’Hare worked tirelessly to have pray banned from public schools. This Anti-Christian feminist working almost single-handedly achieved her goal of taking God and prayer out of school. We have a severe problem with the left-wing liberal leadership
in this country, but part of the blame lies in the hands of the American people.
If one lady working almost alone could get the supreme Court to remove prayer from school, imagine what the Christians in the U.S. could do if we would stand up and demand that Christian principles be set back up in our government! From studying the Constitution I understand that it is unconstitutional to tell children in public school that they cannot pray; however many students in California, New York, and Massachusetts have been actually taken off to jail for assembling peacefully in front of their schools.
The American Center for Law and Justice is now in the
process of defending these cases. Not only has prayer been banned, but the Ten Commandments have been taken off the walls in public schools. In 1994 a bill passed the House, but was defeated in the Senate, banning
religion or religious expression in the workplace.
I saw a copy of this bill. It attached religion to a sexual harassmant law. Would somebody please tell me what religion has to do with sexual harassment? This bill would have made it unlawful to carry a Bible to
work or even mention Jesus Christ. Religious symbols such as crosses were to be banned as well as any religious T-shirts as literature. I find it strange how something so dictating never made it in the
newspapers or the national media. I’m very thankful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that it was defeated in the Senate, but it should not be have never been written up in the first place. These things should not be taking place in America. This is a nation that was founded on the principles of Jesus Christ.
The recent election was a breath of fresh air to the nation; but if people think our problems are through, they are wrong. This is only the beginning. The New Republican Congress last fall brought up the proposal
of school prayer. They wanted a prayer amendment to allow prayer in schools to be passed by July 4 1995. National polls showed the country over whelmingly wanted prayer in schools. As soon as plans were being
made to vote on this amendment at the beginging of the new congress. The Anti-Christian left lashed out, screaming separation of church and state: A measure in the constitution designed to keep the government out
of the church not the church out of the government. When the new congress heard these anti-Christian cries they decided to put the vote off for later. It must be pointed out that congress cannot be blamed for this. They were willing to vote on this amendment but as soon as they tried, Anti-Christian cries came out.
