Summary: Things getting rough? Hold on, it will get worse, but it it worth staying strong!
Scripture Reading: Ephesians 4:13-21
Proposition: You must remain steadfast in the Gospel!
I. Because it is ONCE delivered to the saints. 6-9
A. Truth never changes with circumstances. 6-7 (Jude 3)
B. Truth cannot changed by messengers. 8,9
II. Because of the circumstances of its delivery. 10-12
A. Its message was not normal. 10
B. Its delivery was not normal. 11-12
III. Because of the cost of its delivery. 13-16
A. It cost a successful “ministry.” 13-14
B. It cost precious time In isolation. 15-18
The Gospel Utterly destroyed the doctrine of the Sadducees.
Glaringly reveal the errors of the Pharisees.
Rebuked those who held to the truth as hypocrites.
Destroyed the political religion of the Herodians and Zealots by claiming the spirituality of its nature and teaching submission to governments as God ordained.
