PPE Personal Protective Equipment Ephesians 6:10-17

1. Paul believes we need to Stand, we need the belt of truth God love and care,

• We need the breast plate of righteousness it protected the throat, heart and lungs.

• Part of Saint Patrick’s breastplate prayer Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort and restore me. Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger, Christ in hearts of all that love me, Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

• We need our Feet fitted with Readiness

• We need the shield of faith all my hope is in Jesus

• We need the Helmet of Salvation and the sword of the Spirit Gods word

• Yes, We need PPE personal protective Equipment so we can withstand the fiery darts What is it that PPE Protect supposedly it’s to protect the eyes and face, hands, body, respiratory, and hearing

2. We need PPE for our eyes “Be careful little eyes what you see” The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

• Sexual images are everywhere it is a huge problem in our culture, and it’s destroying lives, reputations and marriages, not to speak of sucking the spiritual life out of its victims.

• See the things God wants us to see, See the value of the other, see the possibility in the other, see the potential in the other, see purity, see the good see God. See the needs of other

3. We need PPE for the Hands refers to our actions

• “Be careful little hand what you do”

• Isaiah tells us 1:16-17“So wash your hands. Make yourselves clean. Get your evil actions out of my sight! Stop doing what is wrong! Learn to do what is right! Treat people fairly. Give hope to those who are beaten down. Cheer them up. Stand up in court for children whose fathers have died. And do the same thing for widows”

• James says, “Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded” (James 4:8).

• The psalmist says, “Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? Those who have clean hands and pure hearts,” (Psalm 24:3-4).

4. We need PPE for the Body that’s why Paul said put on the whole armor

• “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple” (1 Corinthians 3:16-1

• “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

• “For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, ‘I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people’” (2 Corinthians 6:16).

5. We need PPE for the Respiratory system “Be careful little mouth what you take in” or Breath.

• Paul tells the Philippians to breath in : “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, (vv.

• Paul believes if be breath these or inhale or takes these things in , “the God of peace will be with” us (v. 9).

6. We need PPE for our eyes, for our hands, for our body, for our breathing, and for our hearing.

Finally, we need PPE. We need it for the eyes and face, our hands, our bodies, the respiratory system and our ears. “Protect yourself and others. ”And the message I leave with you God Is able is to protect yourself and others.

Therefore, let us ‘be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.’” Amen!
