Summary: Isaiah shares with us the passion of God for His beloved.

“Gods Passion for Us ”Isaiah 62:4-5 - "( But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the LORD delights in you, And your land shall be married. Hephzibah means “My delight is in her”). There will come a day when Zion and God’s people will know the unbroken presence and love of God, as a wife should know the presence and love of her husband (Beulah means “Married”). Yes God has a Passion for us

• God loves us so much He frees us from Bon

• dages as He did the Hebrews “Let My People Go”

• God loves so much he would supply food Manna water eventhough they were a rebellious group

• God so loved the world, sinner, people, that He gave

1. Passion is intensity and excitement

• Webster associates' passion with an eager desire, zeal, an extreme excitement.

• True passion is a God-thing! God designed the human soul to be passionate, excited, and fiery, if you will.

• Passion is an emotion - a strong, intense desire for something.

• When folks are passionate about doing something they seem to get it done.

• They accomplish great undertakings

2. God talks to us about this passion (Love) in the Scriptures “Let’s Get the heart into it”All In

• In 1 John 3:15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

• This is that "first love" relationship Jesus spoke of in Revelation. : 2I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. 4Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. 5Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

• Those who hunger and thirst shall be filled (Passion)

• Let’s burn inside Jeremiah said, “9But if I say, "I will not mention him or speak any more in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.

• Charles Spurgeon said, “When we first loved the Saviour how earnest we were; there was not a single thing in the Bible, that we did not think most precious; there was not one command of his that we did not think to be like fine gold and choice silver. . . . Again, how happy you used to be in the ways of God.

3. This passion is what the Born again do Its our lifestyle

• Paul stands before King Agrippa - a man with the power to have him put to death or not - and all Paul can do is tell him about Jesus.

• It’s because it’s burning inside - he can’t help it - it’s gotta come out –

• Agrippa tells Paul"You’re out of your mind, Paul! Too much study is driving you mad!" (Ac 26:24). All we can do is share Jesus its our passion!

4. Let’s not let anything Kill our Passion for God. Some things that may kill our passion.

• An unused talent may cause you to lose your passion for life and your passion for God.

• God gave each of us certain talents, abilities, characteristics, and gifts that were intended to be used for the benefit of other people. We are called to use our gifts for the benefit of others.

• 1 Peter4:10 10Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

• Mrs. Mills makes Prayer shawls the only thing she can do. Mrs. Esther makes face makes sewing only thing she can do

5. Conflict can kill our Passion for God (Job 5:2) 2Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple

• Our anger generally arises from pride and selfishness.

• Forgiveness is so important. God who knows us, who made us, who created us knows that we can’t carry resentment. . 20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

6. Finally, Passion is what I need intensity and excitement for God

• Let us get our heart into it, all in living

• Passion is our life style
