Summary: Several folks were challenged, and changed by this Word! All believers are positionally overcomers but when we obey we are experiential overcomers and this is why His commands are not burdensome.
When Faith Meets Anointing.
1 John 5:4KJV For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Always pause to ponder "What is the writer explaining?" John has just spoken of God's commandments as not burdensome and now explains why they are not burdensome. As Wuest observes that "The reason why God’s commandments are not burdensome is that obedience to them enables the saint to overcome the world.”
1 John 5:4AMP For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].
Author Pink was an English Bible teacher he wrote and I quote. John uses the Greek ‘neuter’ to underscore the fact that everyone who has been born again, regardless of gender or age, is victorious over the world.
How many of you are born of God? If you’re born of God, you overcome the world. And this victory that overcomes is your faith.
It was the measure of faith given to Abraham, that God counted as righteousness. Abrahams heritage was God imputed righteousness! P.H
1 John 5:4NLT For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
All believers are positionally overcomers but when we obey we are experiential overcomers and this is why His commands are not burdensome.
This evil world is defeated by faith and we prove victory through faith and faith alone. This I know, When a son or daughter of God moves forward in their faith, personal victories await. P.H
John 5:4TPT You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world.
I believe, God looks for believers who learn to bring God into every given situation.
-A believer who not only talks about their Master/Savior, but lives for Him too.
-You can be sure that it is the devil who convinces a believer not to live a faith-filled-life!

Mark 9:17-23NKJV Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.” 19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
The boys father cries out, “Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief!” Jesus heals the boy, the crowd thought the boy was dead.
The anointing that you received, should be treasured and respected. -Held in high honor!
Isaiah 10:27NKJV It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck,?And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
“Most translations refer to the growth of the believer with the anointing increasing the size of their neck; therefore, all yokes breaks away while the anointing increases.” P.H
This is what my Lord has been showing me: “If I can’t bring the anointing into any situation I may be facing or in, I don’t need to go there.’ ‘It’s not deserving of my presence.”
Refuse to place a price on God’s anointing. The Holy Spirit was given to make you a difference maker. -To make your neck too powerful for any yoke!
Matthew 3:16-17KJV And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
-Did you hear the Fathers approval of His Son? Here’s the Fathers report. -This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
When I’m going down the road visiting the hospitals or a church member at home I want to be surrounded by the Holy Spirit. If the anointing can’t be in it, I don’t want to do it! P.H
