About Carolyn Malaika
  • Education: I was educated primarily in Chicago, Illinois where I majored in college in Journalism and Business Administration at Malcolm X College and The University of Illinois. I also have extensive training in the areas of sales management and customer relations. I have an Honorary Degree of Associate of Divinity from The Universal Ministries School of Theology. I am a charter & certified student of the Michael Guido School of Evangelism and was taught by Dr. Guido himself.
  • Experience: My experience in religious studies began at an early age in the Roman Catholic faith over 43 years ago. Since then I have become an avid student of God’s Word and have studied many religions to acquire an understanding to the best of my ability. I accepted my call into the ministry in 1999. I have not always been saved and can witness to the perils of living in the world against God’s will. I am a survivor of many trials and tribulations. Therefore God has used me in many areas of ministry.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Understand that I am guided by His Divine love for His people and my sermons are from Him through me. Apply them to your life and use them in order to be a help to someone else.

  • What my parents think of my sermons: My mother, who is my only surviving parent, is pleased with my delivery. She has become more involved with my church relations over the past years which makes me very happy to have her support, plus her encouragement.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: No spouse.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Stick with the Word of God and remind people of Jesus’ return!
  • Books that have had an impact: TD Jakes- MAXIMIZE THE MOMENT. Dr. Tony Evans- THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S Apostle Kimberly Daniels- CLEAN HOUSE/STRONG HOUSE Dennis Kimbro- THINK & GROW RICH: A BLACK CHOICE. Most recently, I have read STRONGMAN:WHAT’S HIS NAME and THE PURPOSE DRIVEN CHURCH.
  • Hobbies: Reading, reading, reading! Creative Writing, movies ,music and Genealogy Research.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: If you live an honorable and decent life, God will reward you with everything you need, but if you are deceitful and disrespectful, then you will be punished. No doubt about it! The appointed time is now for us all to repent, seek forgiveness and to seek salvation. God is waiting on both you and me to take His Word into the highways and the byways and share the Good News that JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN, SO GET READY, NOW!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Nothing that I would like share at this time! LOL
  • What I want on my tombstone: IT DIDN’T MATTER WHAT KIND OF HOUSE SHE LIVED IN, CAR SHE DROVE OR MONEY IN THE BANK- WHAT MATTERED IS THAT SHE COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF ONE CHILD BY HOW SHE LIVED FOR GOD!
