Jacob flees from Esau and during his flight he sees a dream in which God appears to him above a ladder and blesses him. This narrative sermon shows that God remains faithful to His promise in spite of Jacob's unfaithfulness because of Jesus Christ.

In what way is God a Father to all human beings? There are idol worshippers, atheists, christians, etc. How does God act as a father to all of them?

The meaning of “for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven” in Matthew 5:3 is that they will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. But the meaning of the same words in Matthew 5:10 is that they will rule in the Kingdom of Heaven along with Lord Jesus.
