About Robert
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Take what you can use....But ultimately let God speak
  • One of my favorite illustrations: When it comes to walking with God the best thing illistration I like is that He shouldnt be our co-pilot like the bumber stickers say. But He should be allowed to drive.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They love them just like they love their son. LOL
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: It is very important to love the people you are preaching to.
  • Books that have had an impact: "A plain account of Christian perfection" by John Wesley. "The Immitation of Christ" By Thomas A’ Kempis
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus isnt looking for believers or cheerleaders there are plenty of them. What He wants is servants.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Before the sermon was to start there was a short sermon starter video that was going to be played. As it was getting ready to play it became very quite in the sanctuary. I then proceeded to sit down in one of the big leather chairs that are on the stage. As I sat down a big and loud leather bbRRRRpP sound was created by me comming in contact with the leather of the chair. It sounded like i released gas. Everyone heard it and all i could say was "It wasnt me it was the chair" We all started to laugh.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Here lays God’s servant. He gave it his best and never gave up.
