Domingo de Pentecostés
Acts 2:1-11, 1 Corinthians 12:3-7, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 5:16-25, John 20:19-23, John 15:26-27, John 16:12-15
All batteries need to be charged to be effective. The Holy Spirit "charges up" the disciples and empowers them to take Jesus' message out to the world.
Christian/Church Of Christ
The early church celebrated this day long before they did Christmas. If we are unaware of
this day it is due to the lack of understanding of the place of the Holy Spirit in the life of the church.
A lot of times the Holy Spirit gets the least amount of respect out of all the Trinity even though it is his part that’s at the forefront of our Christian walks today let me explain God the father started it, God the Son finished it, and God the Holy Spirit sealed it.
The Holy Spirit empowers the church for mission.
In Acts 2, the disciples were baptized by the Holy Spirit.
And these are some things that we must know about the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Know about the seekers, speakers, and mockers of the Holy Spirit. Who are you? How do you approach the Spirit of God?
Christians celebrate Pentecost because of the coming of God's Holy Spirit to lead and guide believers to live empowering lives.
Acts 2:1-13, Acts 2:13-40
We have all heard the phrase---you are what you eat. I believe this also true for our minds and spirits, we are what we take in.....as for me and my house---I desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
I will forever be amazed how God set up the Old Testament festivals ALL to be fulfilled through the Messiah
The beginnings of the church
What a day!!! In all of the history of humanity there was never a more important few weeks than the time that passed between the suffering of Jesus on our behalf and the arrival of the Holy Spirit. It is almost too great an event to tell as it cannot be given the justice it deserves!
Acts 2:1-13, Numbers 27:18, 1 Samuel 16:12-13, Exodus 23:16, Acts 1:11-13, Acts 1:13
