  • The Prayer Of Thanksgiving Series

Contributed by Glenn Pease on Apr 1, 2021
     | 185 views

Paul demonstrated the power of a thankful heart to overcome enormous negative circumstances. Prayer is not the dark garment of despair. Prayer is a bright garment of praise that will dress up the soul even on the dreariest of days.

My earliest childhood memories of being in church are of the rope that I could ride. The thick rope hung down through the ceiling in the church entry way. I was so little that when the rope was pulled to ring the bell in the belfry, I could hang on to it and get a ride as it would pull me up off ...read more

  • Joyful Saints Series

Contributed by Glenn Pease on Apr 1, 2021
     | 243 views

A saint is not determined by what they are, but by where they are. If they are in Christ, that is the bottom line. The degree of holiness varies tremendously, but all who are in Christ are equally saints.

Roger Fredricksen, a well-known pastor in my hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, wrote a book titled God Loves The Dandelions. In it he tells of how he and his wife Ruth were at a small cabin on the lake in Minnesota. They had just finished reading the book of Philippians with all its powerful ...read more

  • Educated Love Series

Contributed by Glenn Pease on Apr 1, 2021
     | 200 views

Paul is not knocking the love of the Philippians. Kindergarten love is not bad, but it is no place to level off and be content. A child who does not progress beyond kindergarten is greatly handicapped, and so is the Christian whose love does not abound more and more in knowledge.

  • Can One Sin In My Life Lead Me To Hell?

Contributed by Justin Steckbauer on Mar 27, 2021
     | 269 views

In our modern day we as Christians can assume that we're fine with one foot in and one foot out. We've got the whole grace through faith in Christ equation going in our lives.

"Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires." -Romans 13:13-14 ESV In our modern day we as ...read more

We need to see that the only way to be a happy Christian, who can even make prayer time a fun time, is to forget the bad past, and remember those things that fill our minds with a sense of gratitude.

If we link love and learning we will have life with a capital L, for it will be the abundant life Jesus came to give us. Educated love will love according to priorities.

  • The Prayer Of Thanksgiving Series

Lets face the reality of this. Much, if not most, of what we have to thank God for comes to us through other people. They are the primary tools of God to achieve His purpose in history.

If we like to watch others work, why do we have difficulty looking for or watching God work in our lives?

I will watch you work Philippians 1:6 NKJ being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; The AMP says I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect ...read more

Contributed by Wade Martin Hughes, Sr on Feb 18, 2021
     | 853 views

It is easier to start something than it is to finish. God desires us to encourage other people to finish the race that set before us. We must invest our time, talent and energy into the ministry of finishing what God has called us to do,

But the keys are fasting and prayer. A desperate situation demands desperate measures of intensity, earnestness, and authority for prayer with fasting. Fasting breaks the bondage of sin and loosens the hold of bad habits and their rulership over your life.

Theme: Perfect the Good Work Text: Philippians 1:1-11 Introduction to Lent: The word 'lent' refers to Springtime or spring.      | 338 views

This is a Christmas Eve homily that focuses on God's ultimate plan for humanity. The primary message is how God, in Jesus, share with us his true image. The challenge is for each of us to bear that image as he transforms us from the inside and lived out in the world.

God lying in a manger! Celebrating Christmas should not be viewed as an event, we should view it from the perspective of a process. Christmas, as reflected in my Christmas series, Reliving Christmas, began with God. Our introduction to God is found in the creation story—God is eternal and existed ...read more
